MUMS 2 WORK
Empowering and supporting mums returning to work
Play the video to find out more about me and who Mums2Work is for.
I haven’t heard of you. Who are you?
Hi! I’m Ashlynn. I’m a career coach and working mum (also a proud millennial, Sydneysider, coffee-drinker, introvert, and theme park enthusiast) who gives overwrought mums like YOU the right tools to nail your job search so you can get back to (paid!) work faster. My personalised job search strategy cuts through the overwhelm, works with your hectic schedule, and builds your confidence so you can go after the job you DESERVE.

“Being a mother isn’t a full-time job – it’s an unpaid internship. You're broke, you have no idea what you're doing, and your boss screams at you several times a day.”

Mums2Work is about more than the occasional social post or piece of advice cluttering up your feed or inbox - it’s about helping to make your transition back to work as smooth as possible. If this is something you NEED, then keep reading!

Cool, that might be for me. More details, please?
“Motherhood hit me like a brick wall.”
In short, mothering is HARD (*understatement*). And no matter how many classes you took or how many books you read (or how many birth-related horror stories your friends told you!), no one is ever really ready for the journey that is parenthood. EVERY new mum feels like they hit a brick wall at some point. You are not alone.

Even worse, that feeling is often compounded when you add needing to find a job into the mix; suddenly, you are beset by mum guilt or separation anxiety, you experience overwhelm from the quadrupling of your ‘to-do’ list, and your confidence takes a dive as you think about how rusty your job skills are.

But raising kids is expensive. Hell, just living in Australia is expensive. And chances are, the decision to get a job and make some money doesn’t feel like a choice. And consequently, you don’t feel anywhere NEAR ready to head back to work.
Annnd… Mums2Work can help with that?

I certainly hope so. In this economy, not working isn’t an option for many mothers.

“I wasn’t ready to go back to work, but we had bills to pay.”

Every mum may have a different reason for heading back to work, but many factors, like timing, separation from your little ones, financial stressors, and the bigger workload can feel like a constant STRUGGLE.

So, whether you’ve stepped back from your career for a period of several months or many years, I’m here to help you plan your return to work in a way that works with your messy mum life, so you can find a job faster than you thought possible. That way, you’ll have more time and energy to dedicate to the people and things you love. And isn’t that the point of it all?

Well, I do like the sound of that. But is this community really for me?
“I’m an island. I’ve tried other networking groups before, but they weren't quite hitting the mark.”
Does any of this sound familiar:

You feel frustrated, depressed, or GUILTY as hell (or all the above) about returning to work.
You’re DREADING having to juggle a never-ending chore list, daily tantrums, and looking for a job all at the same time. In fact, you have no idea where to start.
You feel HELPLESS in the face of a job market that seems overcrowded and overly competitive, while wondering how to explain the gap in your resume or how to ask for flexible hours without making recruiters throw your resume in the ‘too hard’ basket.
You’re TERRIFIED that your skills (read: you) aren't good enough (or that no one will see and take a chance on you) for the type of job that you know you deserve.
You feel super ANXIOUS about working again (including handling deadlines, meeting new colleagues, and navigating your new boss’s expectations) while learning a new job.
If you answered, ‘Oh my god, YES!’ to any of the above, then this community may be exactly what you’re looking for – because a career break shouldn’t mean a broken career. So, just to be crystal clear, this program is for you if:

SITUATION: You’re a mum who’s taken some time out from your career to raise a family (for weeks, months, or years), AND you need to find a new job.
FEELINGS: You’re anxious about working again, guilty about leaving your kids, and you’re absolutely dreading everything about the job search.
KNOWLEDGE: You have no idea how to stand out in a crowded job market, and flinging your resume at random applications doesn't seem to work.
INTENTIONS: You’re done wasting time second-guessing - you just want someone who actually gets your situation and can FIX IT.
I’m vibing. But I need help asap, so what exactly are you offering?

The Mums2Work program was designed to help mums like YOU by giving you the exact tools you need to nail your job search. These are the same tools and strategies that have helped real clients of mine get their next job. No bull. No fluff. Here’s what you get:

-
The Mums2Work Flagship Program: entry into my live group coaching program that consists of 5 coaching sessions spread over 3 months (so you have time to take it all in, because mum life, right?), plus links to the recordings if you happen to miss anything. This program gives you the tools you need to get the job you want, faster and with CONFIDENCE.
-
The Mums2Work Newsletter: sent regularly to your inbox (you can opt out at any point) but only when there's something valuable in it for you; no daily spam, vanity waffle, or AI slop here, thank you! My actionable tips cut through the chaos to create CALM.
-
The Mums2Work Resource Hub: lifetime access to a digital library of curated resources created exclusively for you. Think: resume and conversation templates, workbooks to manage overwhelm, and handy checklists, so you feel in CONTROL.
-
The Mums2Work private Facebook group: you get direct access to me (and a community of like-minded mums in the same boat), so you can ask the burning questions that keep you up at night. This is a safe, non-judgmental space to speak and listen, so you feel SEEN.
-
Sign-up BONUS (this won’t be around forever!): a detailed critique of your current resume (or an old resume) where I tell you what’s working, what’s missing, and how you can level up the most important document in your job search arsenal – because you only get ONE chance to make a first impression. This offer provides the human expertise that AI can't deliver, bringing SATISFACTION.

Wait, what’s in the coaching program thingy?

I’m so glad you asked! The Mums2Work Flagship program is basically ALL my expertise (I'm talking 8+ years experience as a career coach and resume writer, and my 8+ years as a working mum) distilled into easily digestible sessions that tackle everything you need to know to get the most out of your job search.

We focus on three main areas: Mindset, Tools, and Strategy. For more details about exactly what each session covers, head here.
Wow, that’s a lot! So, when does the program start?

The doors for Session 1 of the program open on Thursday, 19th February 2026, 11 am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). The location is online, and an email link will be sent to participants before the session starts, along with any instructions for joining.

And now for the big question: what's the pricetag?

Reminder: the Mums2Work membership includes all the offers outlined above (the five group coaching sessions, the newsletter, the resource hub, the private Facebook group, and the bonus resume critique), but not only that, you also get DIRECT access to me and my 8+ years of valued expertise in career coaching and 8+ years of life experience as a working mum. This means that not only do I know what I’m talking about in a professional sense, but I also get you, because I’ve been exactly where you are now, I’ve felt all the feelings, and I’ve figured out what WORKS.

Final answer: the cost of the membership is AUD $2,500 total (incl GST). There are no hidden fees, and you won't be upsold on extra products during the program. You can pay upfront in a single payment, or you can select to pay in instalments from the checkout page, if that works better for your budget (because I understand that kids are money-draining black holes!). But the glittering confidence you get from knowing exactly what you need to do and how to get there? That’s PRICELESS.

I genuinely want to help you land the job you DESERVE – without submitting dozens of applications every week or chasing uninterested recruiters who never call back. The question you need to ask yourself is, what will it cost you (in quality family time, in stressful emotions, in lost money from a directionless job search) if you DON’T invest in yourself?
I feel overwhelmed already! What if I’m not ready to commit?

“I'm a different person post-parenthood. I’m less confident than when I was younger, even though I’m more experienced.”

That’s totally fine, I know it’s a lot to take in, and a big investment of your money, your time, and most importantly, your TRUST. If you need time to think it over, go ahead. If you want to chat and find out more, give me a shout, and we can see if we’re a good fit for each other. No strings, no pressure, and absolutely no hard feelings if you say, ‘Not now.’

And hey, if you’re looking for a long-term, long-distance, low-commitment casual reminder that this program exists, why not simply sign up for my newsletter (if you sign up, I'll send you my FREE Ultimate Return To Work Checklist), or follow me, and quietly lurk for a while until you feel ready to make a decision? Full disclosure: my program has limited spots, and if you miss out, you’ll have to wait (for months!) until the next round when the doors open again.

I don’t really know you – how can I be sure you’ll deliver what you’re promising?

I get it – there are lots of coaches on the internet these days, and you can ask Google’s AI or ChatGPT any questions about the job search, get it to build a pretty good plan, or write your resume for you for free, right?
The DRAWBACK of that approach, apart from not knowing if the information you’re getting is correct or hallucinated, is that you also won’t know the other side of the equation: what are recruiters actually looking for? That’s where I come in, with real-world experience, professional and personal, and feedback from real clients of mine who got solid results from my coaching. But just so you understand where I’m coming from, you can find out more about me here.
What if I change my mind? Can I get a refund?

I believe that when you fully commit to your job search and DO THE WORK, getting results is inevitable (and my clients* would agree!). Therefore, all sales are final, and I do not offer refunds if you simply change your mind.
But I get it, you're human, and we all change our minds from time to time. Here’s the thing - I’m not here to push or trick you into the program, that’s not what I’m about (icky sales tactic alert - ew!). I want you in the program only if it’s right for you. Hopefully, you’ll be able to determine that by reading this page - please read it carefully to see who the program is for and what’s included, and make sure it works for you before signing up. However, if you’re still unsure, I’m happy to answer any questions you may have and have a quick chat to see if I think it’s the right fit for you (send me a message here).

This is not another do-it-for-you coaching course or half-finished job search template that you glance at once and never revisit. This is me offering you TOOLS to understand why certain actions yield more results than others in your job search, or how to overcome the (very real, very valid) objections your brain comes up with that stop you from applying for your dream job - so that you can use these tools over and over again in the future. This is me offering you support when you need it, and no judgement when you need to step back for a minute. This is YOU seeing what’s possible when you commit to your career, after kids. I’m excited to help you take that next step, get confident, and go after the job you DESERVE!

I really am super busy - how much time does this program actually take?

I know, I know, we supermums always have a million and one things on our plates! And those plates are constantly spinning on top of those long, spindly stick things, and we feel that if we take our eyes off them for too long, everything will come crashing down around us, yeah? Ugh, stress.
Here’s a harsh truth: returning to work is never easy, but it feels literally impossible without a proper strategy in place. My mission is to remove the guesswork and help make your journey easier so you can return to work on YOUR terms. That’s why I designed the program to work with your life, so you can dedicate the time you have, when you have it. That way:
You can feel confident that you’ve got a polished, rockin’ resume
You can keep calm and carry on with a stress-proof plan to get your next job
You can stay positive and in control through the ups and downs of the job search.
On average, if you dedicate 1-2 hours a week to the program, you will be able to listen to the sessions (recap: there are 5 x 1-hour live online sessions spaced over 3 months - the days/times sometimes vary but sessions are recorded so you can watch at your convenience if you can’t make it), do the homework (yes, there’s some homework!), and jump into the Facebook group.
I can say that you need to dedicate AT LEAST that amount of time once you begin your job search properly, but if you have less time, that’s fine - job searches are marathons, not sprints - and if you want to spend more time, that’s awesome (and you’ll likely get results faster)!
Okay, okay, I'm in! Where do I sign up?

That’s so amazing, and I can’t tell you how happy I am to have you here! Click on the BUTTON below to head to the payment page – as soon as you check out, you’re in! It’s that easy.

From there, expect a welcome email from me and get ready to plan your return to the workplace – I promise I’ll do everything I can to make the transition an easier one for you. You can also say hi to me on Facebook,
LinkedIn, or Instagram, and I’ll see you when the doors open for the next Mums2Work Flagship Program.

What if I have more questions?

I live for questions! Mums2Work is still in its infancy, and it’s currently in a developmental phase. This means that things are constantly changing WITH you, based on YOUR needs. If there is something you want or something that could be better, speak out! I want to get to know you. Contact me here and let’s start a conversation.
